Exclude Problem

IanP

Didn't quite escape.
OK. This is annoying me now. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have, stuck in the middle of a runway junction at Culdrose, the default scenery's stupid red and white beacon tower, with a beacon on top. It will not, regardless of what I do with exclude rectangles, go away.

I've searched FSDeveloper and come up with a reply that says "make your exclude rectangle bigger" - it already pretty much covers Cornwall, including going over other default airports. This isn't funny.

Any ideas?

:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I knew there'd be an easy answer. This is where searching using Google rather than a forum search engine and searching for utterly unrelated terms kicks in. So... The answer, for anyone who comes across the same issue is:

Inside ADE is an option under the "Tools" drop down, entitled "Load Stock Data". This will display the default objects from default BGL files inside ADE. Simply select your recalcitrant tower object, press delete, and it is gone.

OK. Winning slowly. This particular update is turning into a "learning experience". :)

Edited to add: Thanks Roger, but the forums there are down at the moment. "Scruffyduck" is also an administrator at FSDev, which has its own support forum for ADE - that's why I was searching there.
