Just came across special brand new video explaining how Alitalia DC-10 survived three engine failures.

Here is their quoted statement:

Thrilling adventure for a DC-10/30 crew returns to spotlight for all aviation fans: on Johannesburg-Nairobi-Rome route, an Alitalia crew had to manage three engine failures and one double hydraulic failure. Today a group of flight simulation enthusiasts from Northern East Italy (Gorizia Dinstrict) reproduce that adventure, told in the video by a protagonist, Fulvio Chianese, MD11 Captain of Alitalia (McD Douglas MD11) now retired after 15,000 hours of flight. The episode, reconstructed by mean of "Digital Graphics" is also accompanied, in full version with testimony of one of the twenty-five Alitalia ground technicians who were on board in order to solve the unusual engine problems.
