Exterior Lights Question

Hello all, needing some help please.

I notice Tuesday a FX lighting issue I'm having on all my toys, Landing and Taxi lights seem to be working ok... but I've lost all others exterior lighting on the aircraft??? :help: Red, green nav, rotating beacons, strobes just gone...

Anybody got an idea as to what I DID? :kilroy: and what can I do to repair/fix it?

Thanks much

DC

maybe you are missing the effects for all the exterior lights? Do you have a backup of the effects folder? I cannot think of a reason why you should have a backup though.

You can also try to download some freeware aircraft that includes effects for nav lights and stuff, those effects are often the same as the default ones, and see if that helps?

Loaded FX on laptop and copied efects over and BAM she working...

I never removed a single effect file, yet they were missing :ernae: ?

Thanks

Either your FX files or their corresponding texture files are missing. Some softwares have the bad habit of messing with the default textures without warning you about backups.

Check and see if fx_2.bmp is in effects/texture folder.
