HH: I'm only dimly aware of what it takes to beat CFS3's limitations, but you seem to have gotten an insight that your peers in mission/aircraft, etc. building are truly amazed at.

Now, a dumb question: What happens to the pilot/observer later? Was there a float version of the L5?

To Be honest it is all stock, it is the way I built the mission to work..

I had to work out the height of a camship and then just set up my mission to start there..
Rather touchy getting it right, But works well..
Just a extreme Mission I can do..

Doesn't allow you to do anything but Launch..
Once airborne the L-5 flys as normal..

Just building outside of the stock mission builder is all..
Worked this out several years ago, It is a way to use full height ships in missions..
Does Not address the troubles with this in CFS3..
Just side-steps it is all..

It is fun to do, adds to this mission set for the L-5..

I had better pull a Rabbit out of my hat...Once in a while..
The L-5 does go well from the camship, 0 mph to 122 Mph 2 seconds flat..
Gives a whole new life to the L-5...

Not to worry not a fix all... just a side step..
As all Hobbits do, if you can't get over a problem..
Then Go Under it..
Just playing outside the box is all..

When I release this anyone can do this..
All you have to do, is look at how I did it in the mission..

Working out the degrees and height, and all this..
Takes a lot of Mead..

Looking for Camship Mission

:wavey:I can'nt find a ETO mission. It involves a huricane and a camship. Starts in air, you intercept German ac, try to shoot em down, bail out near camship, get message you're rescued.

Any body remember this mission?

I do not think it was an ETO mission. It is called "im_gonna_get_wet.xml" for CFS3

LedZepplin's Battle of the Atlantic missions have one like you describe. It's in the Warbirds Library.

The mission is called LBS_Atlantic_FAA 41_08_03.xml

It's a neat mission: You don't have to land :icon_lol:

You have to change the contact points on the Hurricanes for this to work..
Send me a Hurricane you can Belly Land without exploding, and I will launch off of camships as many Sea hurricanes as you like in missions for you..

Better yet I'll send to You, the way I do this and you can build for me all the Sea Hurricane missions off of Camships I want..:icon_lol:
