At a renewed Silverstone with a few new corners, and with Sakon Yamamoto replacing Bruno Senna for this weekend.

First ones out after Q1:

18: Alguersuari
19: Kovalainen
20: Glock
21: Trulli
22: Di Grassi
23: Chandok
24: Yamamoto

The seven that didn't make it into the final ession:

11: Sutil
12: Kobayashi
13: Hulkenberg
14: Button
15: Liuzzi
16: Petrov
17: Buemi

The first ten on the grid are:

1: Vettel
2: Webber
3: Alonso
4: Hamilton
5: Rosberg
6: Kubica
7: Massa
8: Barrichello
9: De La Rosa
10: Schumacher

I actually dozed off at the start of Q3.........:173go1:
MacLaren certainly moved in the wrong direction, or so it would appear.
Hamilton made it into P4 by just grabbing the car by the nuts and dragging it there!!!
Now if Webber can get an even break on Sunday I might stay awake.

I watched the qualifying live on SPEED while watching the Tour de France on the Versus Tour Tracker on my wide-screen monitor.

But again, tomorrow, FOX will have the race at Noon, so no names bitte. That'll fit my plan, the Tour is in the high tors tomorrow and the Tour Tracker will start at 6:30 AM EDT. The stage should ebd between 11:00 and 11:30 AM EDT, perfect for watching the F-1 Silverstone race at Noon.

Will miss NASCAR's start at least tonight, going to the baseball game at 7:00, beer wins. :ernae:

Caz

Now here's a Great Race Track

Club corner with a little wind on it will sort out who's on top of their game.
The circuit as a whole is a real test of chassis design, and shows McLaren is best when aero counts. Their chassis setup is too stiff for this one.
Once again Button proves he's good when it goes his way, and when it's not quite right he's dead in the water.
And whatever happened to Renault? They looked so promising...

Great TV shots when the cars weave through the complex, this way then that, should be quite a spectacle.

Same here Cazzie....I think I'm going to have to record the F1 and watch it the next day.
I don't want to brag to much but we have our 2 Aussie's in very prominent positions in both the Tour and F1 events tonight.:australia:

Spain won the World Cup, Nadal won Wimbledon...

...but it must have the worst day in Alonso's life!
No Spanish hattrick, then.

Damn Aussie can't count, that's Webber's problem!
And now he's ahead of Vettel in the points...
At the next race, you have to wonder, does Mark get the Good Nose? :d

And my man Kobayashi: 6th place, one ahead of Vettel!
Banzai!

Little disappointed Kubica had to retire early. I think he and his team have performed very well so far this year.

Couldn't agree more about Kubica and Renault.
The team, including Petrov I hasten to add, have been punching above their weight all season.
Vettel really needs to take a step back and try to calm down, at this point in time his immaturity is causing him grief, where Webber has the experience and coolness of temperament on his side.

I couldn't agree more. Hockenheim next, but I can't believe there is almost a month off between Hungary and Belgium. I can't wait for Spa!!!
