F1 View...oddities in views

I installed F1 View the other day and found it to be quite a nice utility....but I noticed some really odd things going on with my views. From within the VC, when looking to the left or right, it looked like the scenery was under super magnification....mountains that were miles away looked like they were just a short way off my wing tip. When looking at the plane in spot view, the plane was distorted...like I was looking at it through a fish eye peep hole or something.

Are these normal things? Or possibly systematic of my install getting buggy (could not start a flight in Hawaii...sim would get to 10% and crash, regardless of which plane I selected or which airport in Hawaii I selected).

I've been using F1-View since it first came out, never had any of those problems. (and this is an antique, slow machine)

The only strange F1view effect here was with the SECTIONF8 Sabre:
Some of their VC gauges are operated by wheelmouse - doesn't work quite well with F1view. The solution is simple:
Just kickin' the F1_view.dll out of the modules folder once the Sabre is to be lit...

Never a problem here, unless I have Active Camera in some mode. No problem there, but F1View zooms in both the cockpit and scenery when Active Camera is in Fly-By or latency mode. For screenshots, I usually will Pause and use Slew to get the sun angle lighting I desire and F1View to compose.

It's been a time since I tried the trial version but is F1 the software that lets you look around by moving the mouse around the pad? I was also really hoping to try out the head latency but couldn't get it to work. love that effect when I can get it.
