F86 Sabre Pack uploaded

Here's 3 packages for the F86 Sabre by Kirk Ohlsson/Eric Hinson. I had to choose between this and the newer Section8 Sabre, but it turns out the K.O. sabre is superior when it comes to framerates. The K.O. Sabre works just fine in the FOX FOUR campaigns. And i dont have a super comp.

It's split in 3 packages because of size.
Pack 1 also contains a new 2D panel.

After DL, read the "Document.txt" file for installation detailes!

For shame...

..., for shame, Bad Boy. :bump:

Nice Skins!

Thanks Morton, especially for the 2D panel for Wide Screen Lcd. :applause: It has been almost two years since I have had a normal looking panel view in CFS2. Almost forgot what they should look like. :icon_lol: Nice job!

PS, how did you get the gunsight.64 bmp not to show in your picture?

Bothers me too DVslats. Beside beeing in the wrong format, the 1024X768 bitmaps are too crude for our new screens. Actually toyed with the idea of reworking most of my 2Ds to the new format, but i dont know if i really can find the energy to do it...

Nice shots!

I have disabled the Gunsight64 permanently. Just rename the extension .BMP to anything else. The file is in the TEXTURES folder isn't it?

Morton,

Absolutely fantastic work! You've captured the essence of the Sabre better than I ever could. I do, however, have one tiny request. This being predicated on, your time, possible burnout from doing 9 Sabre's and a gorgeous 2Dpanel, and just sitting back and having a cold one.:icon29:

Could you do two more? One of Risner's and one of Parr's. That would make this Old Sabre "Jock" one, and possibly many more, happy camper.

Again, beautiful work and have fun.

...............:ernae:THANKS MK:ernae:
............beautiful paint,classic panel and selection:applause:

Great stuff Morten :icon29:...with a few tweaks i can even use your panel in my SF8 convert.

So what's the deal on that rudder anima problem with Hinson's convert...did someone work that out already?

Not easy, but very fun to paint, i planned to do some more. Any good pictures/profiles of your requests on the net BuB?

Morton,

Thanks for considering these repaints. I still have some things left over from when I did them for the Fox Four Sabre. PM your e-mail and I'll package up what I have and get it off to you. There are some sites that have info on them. I just can't remember which ones. Must be getting old.:isadizzy:

Thanks Again,
Bub
