    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Had to reload FS9 and instaled FS Autostart again and when I start it to list wich programs to close I click on programs and it will disappear and not open. Any Ideas of what might be wrong.

Just a wild guess but it sounds like you may not have the proper directory set for FS9. Those parameters should be set first, and tested before identifying any programs that need to be shut down.

FSAutoStart uses *.ini files which you can find under the Documents and Settings folder off your root directory. Look under the Application Data folder for the FSAutoStart folder, and there should be a profile folder where the files are kept. You can print these out or edit them directly in Notepad.

Okay. Right click it and create a new one. Give it a name, and enter the data on the location of your FS9.cfg. As you save it there should be a new *.ini file. This is what mine looks like..

[Configuration]
description=FS 2004 Standard
fspath=C:\Games\Flight Simulator 9\FS9.EXE
fscmdline=
fspriority=Above Normal
defragmem=1
procidletasks=0
nonresponse=15
autostartdelay=30
pauseatend=0
MainAppExe=
logging=0
donotlaunchapp=0

After you set it up to work with FS9, you should be able to select which programs to shut down.
