fade out

When flying from Astoria down the columbia river after about 15 min. the scenery will fade out and you have to reload the scenery to get it back again. Will hold then about 15 min. later will fade out again. I have a ADM motherboard 2.5 with 2 gig of memory and a Nivid 8600 video card.

I also have an NVidia 8600GT video card. I assume yours is the same? With 512meg of RAM?
Are you using any special scenery for the region you're flying in? I've never ever heard of scenery just disappearing, but even still things similar to that point to a video card problem normally, but as good as 2Gig of Ram is. . .that may also be a problem, depending on what scenery you might have loaded.:salute:

I'll wager it's a video card problem. Has this just started or has it been doing this all along? Have you changed video card drivers recently? What is the card's GPU temperature at idle and when the scenery goes away?
