Fairbanks

I can't seem to download Fairbanks. When I click the arrow, it say to right click and save as, which means all I download is the arrow. I can download everything else ok.

I'm using Firefox.
I right clicked under the arrow and selected "open link in new tab".
That brings up the download link and then just save it to disk.
Worked great.
Thanks for the heads up dogknot.
Now to get some AI propliners up and flying.

Thanks Brent, just grabbed the Spokane scenery as well.

Mike:ernae:

I grabbed the Spokane scenery, too. Even though I had a pretty good one that was included in Lauren Robison's "Montana Unleashed" ( a destination airport from the Montana sceneries), this new one does a really great job. I like it.
I did have to remember to disable all the KGEG bgl's in the Montana pkg.

Fairbanks looks alive, as it should. Lots of static aircraft, bldgs. equipment, etc.. Nicely done. Will have to make a sight seeing flight over to Denali. Might make a longer haul up toward Coldfoot, too. It's dark-time up in Alaska. Only a few hours of good light during the day. Keep your eyes peeled for the dancing-painted sky. Aurora Borealis is pretty cool, even in the sim.

I am going to have to try some night flights up there dogknot.
What do you think is the best scenery for Ted Stevens in Anchorage.
I see that FRF studios has a scenery for there as well.
I tried a couple of others and one removed some of the default terminal buildings when I uninstalled it.
I want to set some AI Charter cargo flights in the region.

I actually still have FRF Studio's version3 installed. Their ver4 is just a minor change to a terminal, according to their site.

Thanks Nambus, that worked nicely. That's the first time I can remember running across something like that. I'm a happy camper.:mixedsmi:

Your welcome rpjkw.
Glad you git it working .
It's a nice airport in a very scenic part of the world.

It is an excellent scenery set. The AFCAD even allows use of the water runway. If you have MAIW sets installed there are two A-10s that do T&G landings. It would be good to have an AI float plane traffic set to land on the Lake water runway. :wavey:

Will have to see how it looks, As I live in Fairbanks. We have been counting on global warming as a lifestyle improvement, so far it looks like a hoax....

I won't comment too much on the self proclaimed 'Last Great Airline', also sometimes refered to in Alaska as the Pride Of Seattle.....

Cheers: T.

I have three Beavers using the lake, if you want the files I'll attach them here.

Here you go, just remove the .TXT extender.:ernae:

Thanks, Terry! Worked out great.

Of course, I didn't have the AI Beavers with the same name, so I just decompiled in Ttools, changed the aircraft file to a couple of AI Beavers I have and a Lake Renegade and recompiled the Traffic file.

As soon as I arrived in Fairbanks the Lake Renegade and a Beaver taxied into position, took off and started their circuits. Very cool.

Thanks for sharing! :ernae:

after a few minor tweaks (mostly personal preference stuff), the AI is up and running on the Fairbanks pond.
