fairey aircraft at simviation

I'm downloading the float plane version now...and will try running the MDL through MDLC...but given the fact that these planes were created using FSDS 3.5.1, the odds of a successful conversion are slim. Will pop back in in a few minutes and let you know how it goes.

Ran the MDL through MDLC.....all animations are lost during the conversion. The prop animation is intact, but all the flight control surfaces are jacked around like the plane is in a tight diving turn and they are frozen there.

Can it be converted to CFS2? Maybe by someone who can go in and recode all the animations via hex editing.

Hmm. Can someone perhaps get in touch with Ed and see if he would do them for us in cfs 2? don't know his addy.

The problem herein is the fact that Ed used FSDS3.5.1 to model these planes. That version of FSDS, actually all version higher than 2.4, do not produce CFS2 usable models. So, Ed would have to start from scratch using an older version of FSDS.....and it can take hundreds of hours to produce a sim plane from scratch.
