Fairey Firefly Mk,1 P3Dv4 - An original Flying Stations model

The files in this archive will install into P3Dv4 to give a model of the Fairey Firefly F.1 (Royal Navy and Royal Netherlands Navy), FR.1 (Royal Navy, Royal Canadian Navy and other navies) and NF.1 (Royal Navy). The files will not work in either FSX or P3Dv3. This model is TacPack enabled.

i tried running the installer but it is telling me I don't have permission to access the file

Odd, it worked fine for me in P3D v4.5 earlier today.

Please would it be possible to run this great aircraft in Prepar3Dv5.4.9.28482 ? I installed the file into the sim , however I get a CTDT and subsequently P3Dv5 closes. P.s. picture of my dad when he flew for the Dutch Navy 320 squadron.

I am sorry but the developers of this model are no longer activly working in development. So the only way forward for you would be to reverse engineer the current model, and that is not allowed by the terms of the agreement through which this file was uploaded here.

But perhaps someone familiar with P3Dv5.4 could help you to identify why it is not working in that simulator . . .

Removing the A2A_Windshield file(s) from the panel folders solved the issue for me.
