I can do the conversion for you easily, but the problem is the model loses all animations and texture mapping. Are you good enough in Gmax to correct these issues?

Sure convert away. If you stop by CFS3 once in awhile you'll notice the 40-50 planes that I have made over the last few years:costumes:. Seriously, my wife thinks I am in love with 3dmax.
