FAZ Landing Lights

SOH-CM-2013
Does anyone know if someone has released a "tweak" that will tone down the intensity of FSX landing lights. There was one for FS9 some years ago. Really made the landing and taxi lights look more realistic and didn't wash out everything else on the ground.

Thanks.

The one I use you can get from the Avsim library

"th2go_new_lights.zip"

this one is perfect

Thanks musterpilot. I downloaded the file and installed it as per the readme. NO JOY.:banghead: I still have the same taxi lights. If I can ever find the original download for FS9, which worked in FS9, I'm going to try it in FSX.

OK for anyone interested. I have found that the spotlight.bmp is what controls the landing lights and taxi lights on most airplanes. I found that by cutting and pasting darker sections over the brighter sections tones the beam down. The problem with that is the light is not uniform anymore.

If someone who has a decent paint program would like to take a crack at simply making the bmp a little bit darker, I think that would do the trick.
