Anyone else that flys FCS Avro Lancaster notice a smudge out left and right side cockpit wing view? Thought my monitor needed cleaning but it is OK.

Probably meant to be a refelction on the glass, but yea, it looks out of place really. Maybe a bit of tweaking to the glass texture to remove it would be in order. . .also the alpha.

Thanks for the info. Was hoping the FCS Devs would spot this and come back with a fix. I'll just leave that to the pros to hopefully fix.

that's where the glass blisters out... but yeah looks a bit odd as there's no lower portion to it to complete the 'bulge'/Blister...

Matt's correct. Don't think it's a fault. Most Lancasters had clear observation blisters each side of the cockpit - second panel back. I think that what you are seeing is the front edge of the blister which is tear-drop shaped.

I note that NX611 'Just Jane' does not have them but the two airworthy Lancs, PA474 and FM213 do.

Regards

Mike

I think that would be a tough one to model into the glass, if possible at all. Looks as if they tried to re-create the blister shape by shading that section. I did not however notice this on my FS9 version of the FSC Lanc.
