FDG2 historical performance package...

To all,

I have finished the historical performance package for the FDG2 freeware and Donationware fighters, and have uploaded it tonight. I checked the performance of the aircraft in action and in AI behavior, and since I just adjusted the scalars, I didn't notice any real problems with any of the fighters.

This package covers the F4U Corsair megapack, the Curtiss P-40e Warhawk, the Curtiss P-36a Hawk, the Donationware P-51b and the 'Malcom Hood' Mustang, the Grumman F6F-5 with the F6F-3 modification, the Donationware Wildcats, the Republic P-47d-23 Thunderbolt, and the Nakajima Ki-43II Oscar.

I don't profess these to be up to the 1% standard, but I feel they are very close to what the aircraft would have performed like in real life. I hope you all enjoy!

Hi Rami; I really like the F6F-3. I imagine most guys do not use the 2D cockpit. It looks real good, but I am getting 16-20 fps. Virtual and open cockpit modes have great fps. Is it something I messed up?

Thanks Rami! I'm lookin forward to getting them installed, should be a cool addition for the FDG2 birds.

I was going to suggest a Morton panel.

Just for the record, I use Morton panels in every plane that I fly and they are available for.

Hey Rami, THANK YOU!

We all needed some accurately powered and flight dynamic fighters.

No government work tomorrow in Metro-DC!
I will be home working on misisons.

Shoveled the 2 feet of snow out of my drive and sidewalks today. Of course can't go anywhere because residential streets have 2 feet of snow on them......

Since I know it will get exposure here...here's a compiled list of airbase.dat entries I'll be working with for the Pacific.

Thanks fellas, I am using one of Mortons panels and a FDG panel. I really like both of them. FPS are great in both. Jeez, I might get over the 100 plane limit just using wildcats and hellcats. I will never complain about new stuff for the pto again. I cannot beleive all the stuff coming out! I'm gonna need a secretary! That is a fine site, Morton.

Just downloaded. I'm with Jadg, Rami. If you got these to work properly for player and Ai and anywhere near 1% standard, I'm ready to be ULTRA-impressed. We'll need a whole new level of 'impressed' to cover how impressed. Thank you, as always, for your effort.
