Felixstowe flying boat base for FS9

Established during the first world war, Felixstowe was a major base for flying boat operation's between the wars. Due to its location on the east coast, operations were scaled back during 1940 due to increased enemy attack's but from 194View attachment 1049342 onwards became a care and maintenance base for Sunderland's and Catalina's.
