Few Question on CFS3 ETO and MAW

Hello Every one.
It has been a long time since I played CFS3. I started out flying on line back in the old days of the old dial up with CFS.
Was the CO of the Tuskegee Redtails till we changed our name to the v332nd FG. Then we transfer over to CFS3. My handle back then was Lakota.
It's been almost 10 years since I played CFS3. Since then I been playing IL-2 1946, Warbirds, Aces High 2 and now into DCS World waiting for the DCS WW2 to come out.
I got back interested in CFS 3 since I saw CFS3 ETO Expanision and MAW on You Tube.
For the last four days I have been trying to get get ETO Expanision to work. I was doing alright till I tried to install patch 1.50. I finally got it in and when I start the game it loads up
and then when the screen comes up I get Mission File Fail to Load. I had to uninstall ETO Expanision three times and reinstall the ETO Expanision Pack. Yes I followed the instrucation to the T.
Any help on this problem would be greatly helpfull.
Now MAW I have no sound in the cockpit, won't let me change the year, or country in the spawn section, also there is no USAAF aircraft showing up in the plane sectation.
I would love to get back into CFS 3 flying.

Sounds like you forgot to delete the viewui.xml file.

Whenever you get a "mission file failed to load" warning, all you have to do is choose a different airplane and launch a free flight.

Once you quit the free flight, you'll no longer have to worry about the "mission file failed to load" warning.

Hope that answers your question. ETO is an excellent expansion and I'm working on a Battle of Britain mission pack right now.

With MAW, I haven't really had the chance to look around at it, but as far as I know, the USAAF wasn't included in MAW.

I think there's a few USAAF aircraft kicking around, but I can't remember seeing any. Sorry I can't be of more help there.

Thank You for the quick help grove1. Got it to work, however now after installing the Firepower_USAAF_Heavery Bombers_2eto I am stuck on only one map
the 1944 map. No matter what ERa I chose it always come up in the 1944 map. I was wandering if this Firepower add on is causing this problem.
