File availability prognostic

I am still trying to access and download files from RobH, Shessi and Sopwith Chameleon (just to name a few) and no joy...

I get the same message everytime: error 404, link is corrupt...

Could we have a "swag" as to a date when everything will be up and running ?

For the be benefit of the uneducated, a "swag" is a scientific wild ass guess...
(Sorry, couldn't resist...).

I'm sure you know how close SOH came to being in the same boat as AVSIM. . .we can count ourselves lucky that the staff here has been able to weather quite a few major storms and still keep things afloat.
Without speaking directly with any of them I can tell you they are working tirelessly to get everything back as it was (I know this because that's the kind of folks they are).

Downloads are much further along than they were and even I have found a lot I would like to access but can't. For now that's what we have.

I would be surprised if ickie or anyone else for that matter could give you even a "swag" about when things would all be back to normal. I might be wrong and they may post something in the morning saying everything is fixed, but I doubt it.

For now, if these folks might have posted to flightsim.com, I'd try there, or if someone with more info can post an alternative for where you can go to check their files that would be a help as well.
