• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

File Library Teams

We need Teams of members to help us restore the file library to this server. I would prefer to tackle this with members from each forum section.

The new file library has the same structure as the old library. One for one we need to download the files and then upload them here. I almost have a document done to show you how to upload files here. I need to know who will be helping us so I can get permissions set correctly. Once the file is uploaded you will change the file owner to the original member who uploaded it.

Once it is uploaded here I want to remove it from the old library.

And on another note uploads at our old server are shut off. Upload all new files to this server. The resources section is actually pretty cool.

Since a few of the downloads in the library are mine, I feel sort of obliged to chip in, unless of course you want me to spend my time on doing more textures...

(y) do what you can when you can. Just let me know which ones you moved over here when you do them. I plan on deleting them daily or weekly as they are added.

And just so everyone knows @PRB and myself have a complete copy of all of the files and database off the server. Between the 4 locations they are stored we are not likely to lose anything.
 
No preferences either, but let me start with whatever MSFS, and we'll take it from there!
 
I wish i could be of more use on this but i am in the middle of building myself a new system and almost all of my harddisks (m2) are already installed in the new one under the monoblock.
I computer i still use is running on a bare minimum of hd space. Bad timing i guess.
