Almost all the links to Morton's files are still down. I went after a lot of his skins this morning and kept getting file not found.

Corrupt file report

The zip file is half the size it should be and is corrupt.

Morton's downloads

No disrespect meant to the staff: well I keep trying to get them, but well they aren't there. I am wondering did they lock him up in the closet and forget he was there.

Morton has given us some great work. I prey we haven't lost it.

Hey guys,

I am once again on the hunt through the CFS2 downloads, looking for broken links. Thus far, I've done all of the Aircraft section, including the Archives and VB planes. I am in the middle of the Skins - American section, and will pick it up tomorrow.

This time, I'm using an Excel spreadsheet. :jump:

I will tomorrow. I'm going to try to bang out the Skins section in the morning.

All sections have been completed except the "other" section, which I will do tomorrow.

I'm going to bed. :isadizzy:

You're right Cowboy1968. I have checked through my pages and it seems that some older downloads work, most dont however. We have to give our hardworking SOH staff more time i guess. They do a tremendous job.

I created a list for Douglas of all of the files that are missing, section by section. I've spent the last 36 hours going through each individual download, with help from two other members.

Now that Douglas knows what files are missing, restoration should be that much faster.

Thank you, Rami!

You have become a corner stone of the House!

My gratitude goes also to the members who joined you in such a heavy, tedious job!

Let's hope this is the last cure for all SOH's ailments since last April!

Cheers!

Thanks, guys. The appreciation shown makes a tedious, at times mind-numbingly dull job like that worthwhile. Besides, it's part of my job to keep this forum healthy and happy. Keeping the files up are an essential part. :ernae:

Thanks Rami, I was initially hesitant to say anything about missing files lest I be considered unappreciative (again ;) ). The efforts of all involved are to be lauded ( now get back to work )

Thank you RAMI for all your hard work. I know there are other things you could be doing than this stuff this summer. Thanks again.:ernae:[take a break and have a cold one once in a while.]

Rami,

Thanks for the work that you do to keep the Basement in line...or as in line as it can be seeing as how it is full of knuckle draggin, cigar chewing, booze guzzlin, under-cooked meat eatin, holey undershorts wearin degenerates who haven't shaved in a good month of Sundays.

While I would say take a break and do something else for a change, given the fact that you have produced, with Erica's help, a good sized herd of youngins in the last couple years, maybe it's a good thing that you are glued to your computer for a while longer.
