(Finally) working tooltips in portovers?

Tooltips shouldn't work in portovers, right?

I don't know what caused this, but the tooltips in SectionF8's Sabre (FS9 model) are working for me...


Could be either NVidia's new 180 series drivers or Vista or something model related, but those freaking things are working!!


I'm at uni right now, expect some proof later on.
 
I don't think I have ever seen a problem with tooltips in port overs to be honest. Mine always seemed to work OK but it's been so long since I last flew a port over in FSX I could be wrong I guess.

I just checked my FSX folder and it appears that I only have a single port over in my FSX build at the moment and that will soon be deleted since I now have Piglet's Super Tucano to replace the Simshed one.
 
Portover tooltips don't work in mine.:kilroy: Never have. Never will. don't give a :censored: either. :costumes:

Never been a problem for me because I don't use ports. :d
 
I never had any tooltip problem with any port-over aircraft... and 90% of my FSX hangar are FS9 planes. :mixedsmi:
 
Ill just mark this as a personal success then! No more "what does this switch do?" for me! :costumes:
 
I have many FS9 planes too, only thing, I cannot use DX10 preview (okay by me). I have to make a little thumbnail screenshot for each texture folder lest I get an "Unknown" thumb. I also add the FSX Texture.cfg to each FS9 texture folder.

Sadly, Stuart Green's WW I masterpieces will not port over! :banghead:
