  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

Firepower Ar-234 Crash to desktop

Hi all,

I recently installed Firepower's aircraft to my ETO install and I ran the FP update that's on Reg's Hanger.

Whenever I go to choose the Ar-234, I get a CTD.

Anyone know of a solution?

check if you have the following items:
- sound file.
- pylons and loadouts required in .xdp file.
- effects required by the diverse weapons and sound files.
Also did you change the era you used the first time you opened this plane?
Some airbases are different from one era to the other;if so try deleting the uisel.xml file in the user>XXX(your name)>AppData>Roaming>Microsoft >CFS3 ETO Expansion folder.

Got it squared away, turned out I was missing a file.

Just need to ad in the nuke lines from the Firepower effects.xml and I'll be good.

Did you find the snd_abomb line required in the fx_abomb line in the effects.xml?
Also is there a corresponding wave file?

I couldn't find the effects for the abomb and the sound.wav files.

If you have those lines, could you possibly email them over to me?
