I've got this aircraft on the sim, and have also downloaded the patch for it available at the FCS website. I still get a CTD when switching views in spite of what they say on their tech support website about this going away after the patch is installed. I also get erratic aircraft behavior (extremely unstable about all axes, esp during takeoff) despite babying this thing off the ground. The kicker is that none of the aircraft is visible from inside the cockpit - although the nav lights are visible, out there by themselves, when switched on - unless those are UFOs keeping formation on me. Has anyone else had any problems with this bird after installing it?:mixedsmi:

Wombat - how interesting you say that, I had a recurring problem with the props that I'm not so sure has gone away. What happens is after the engines are started, I used to get the prop discs to become translucent; sometimes they turned purple when viewed from certain angles, and at other times they were perfectly circular but had grey speckles in them. Which props did you drop into the textures?
Checked back into this thread and found the downloads mentioned, and installed them. Now I can last about 45 or 50 minutes before a CTD. This was spent almost completely in external view after getting off the ground, accelerating to 200 knots and leveling off at 4,000 feet above water. Also completed one 70 degree turn to a new heading. Can now see the individual prop blades much more clearly, and there don't appear to be any issues there. I did minimal switching between views (internal/virtcock/external) only in the early portions of the flight. FCS, if you folks pay any attention to this website, this is why I would like very much to purchase some other offerings from your firm, however, I'm getting tired of having to do damage control and detective work, and play transplant surgeon to find out why your products don't work as advertised - and, IMO, are incomplete (re: views out the cockpit) - therefore, am not purchasing any more until another guinea pig reports the situation cleared up.
Not sure what to do now, this new CTD issue after so much time has elapsed may have to do with a texture problem on the aircraft - I noted when taxiing the shadows didn't move smoothly over the external surfaces of the aircraft, but rather in "waves." Also - it's translucent at night.
