Fixing m/s sbd landing gear

OK .. I know that this probably can't be done ... but I just gotta' ask.

Tha landing gear on the M/S SBD looks like the suffered one too many REALLY HARD CARRIER LANDINGS ... I mean, JEEZ ... all splayed out and whatever.

Can ANYONE go inside the WHATEVER FILE and stop the opening roatation at 90 degrees ... or something ONLY A LITTLE BEYOND THAT?

I know we have a nice FDG2 a/c (I have it) ... but sometimes I just want to fly the old buzzards ... and this particular feature HAS ALWAYS BUGGED ME.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can make this fix work.

Next on my list of gripes, ...thanks for bringin'it up.

Was re-working the .cfg the other day and spent awhile lookin' at it.

It also sits well outside the Douglas/Navy spec. 10'-6 foot CtoC stance. (+/-5.30 to outside of tread in the .cfg)

I'd like to say that great minds think alike ... but I'm just the blind squirrel who stumbles on (over) his nuts every once in a while ... still ... it's nice to know that in this case ... more powerful minds than mine were also disturbed by the M/S creation ...:faint:
