Two questions, any answers?

1. How realistic is the flak damage in CFS3? A hit at always seems to result in the same same annoying list of damages, that sound of the open air, and a virtually unusable aircraft. This does not seem realistic, as there were clearly different degrees of flak damage. Has anyone addressed this problem?

2. Is there any way of adding a rear view mirror/window? CFS3 seems to ignore the fact that documentary evidence from WW2 shows many machines were fitted with rear view mirrors whether standard or ad hoc. IN CFS 1 and 2 you could just open up a window, but this option seems not to be available in the view menu in the controllers dialogue in CFS3. Any ideas?

Mirror

I beleive that in order to have a mirror you need an eyepoint in the model to accomplish this, or at least that is how I have been able to make it happen. Then you need to make adjustments to the xdp. If a simple revision of the cfg is all it takes .....

It is possible to make a second seat on the same eyepoint by modifying the .xdp only. It is also theoretically possible to set a default position/direction relative to the eyepoint for thi seat. It does not handle right with span view, but may be sufficient for a snap mirror look.

If you are talking about the orig. CFS3 not having rear view mirrors you are right. In the addons of ETO, PTO, DPC Korean skies and MAW that were made for CFS3 there are several planes the have the mirror view.
