Interesting that I only seem to see one German Flak Ship and no facilities or entries in a gsl??
 
Are there some missions with flak facilities added to islands in the North Sea? The name Tercel springs to mind could be wrong but :pop4:
 
Well I did a thorough seach in all my CFS3 files; even using *cel*.xml and only Barcelona came up!:jump:
The reason I am interested is that; at least in 1942, Bomber Command ac were having trouble off the Netherlands especially with flak ships. I guess I will have to make a facility to add to the gsl and or make spawns. GSL is better as always there.
 
Can't find anything obvious in ETO - there are buildings and facilities for Maunsell forts in the Thames Estuary, and Flakturme's in Berlin, but nothing in the global layer for the Atlantic Wall fortifications off the Netherlands.

It is possible that Loic (LBS) recalls early discussions about whether to put together something representing German AA coastal fortifications such as IJmuiden. Loic may have put some flak concentrations in one of his Atlantic Wall missions for ETO?

I've had a good rattle around but haven't found anything. I'm sure I recall at least one thread on AA fortifications off the Netherlands :banghead:
 
Islands probably had a lot of flak but I'm after flak ships. I'm going to test out a flak ship facility I made and we'll see.
 
OK made faciliutiy and put some in the 'Waddeneillanden' sea between Texel, Terschelling and the mainland area. Seem to work well so text of facility included. (Don't forget to make xml!)

How did you add this facility to sea between Texel, Terschelling and the mainland area , in which did you do it ?
 
1. make sure an xml file. Just copy and paste into notepad and save*.xml

2, Add to facility file. (I assume you have the actual ship)

3. Open the appropriate Era (ETO) then open your mb app. Make a mission and add the facility(ies) into the mission

4. Check by playing the test mission.

5. If you like to have them permanently in game, you have to know how to add to the gsl.
