Flares in ETO

Was just wondering about the flare effects for the Wellington in the update for the ETO expansion. Ive selected the aircraft and flares for the loadout, but when I drop it I see nothing. What I am supposed to see? Any help would be great thanks!
 
Ignore that sorry. I restarted the game and the effect worked fine. The field at Newchurch looks great too! Well done to all involved and thanks again for your hard work. A salute to you all!
 
Chris,

Also remember that all of the Sodium Flares are water activated and will not go off if dropped on land. The paraflares work over land or water. The red candle flares work only on land and will not burn or float on water.
