I have flightradar24 right on my W8 metro screen. Thanks dhasdell for the maritime link, gonna email them and see if the Windows app will work with my metro apps on W8.

The nice thing about Flightradar 24 is that the aircraft are color coded to indicate if their positions are being displayed in real time or displayed with a 5 minute delay.
