See below a Bf-109G6 paint scheme I have started on. I need help with what the wings will look like. Sometimes they used the standard camo but others did custom work like Hartmann's winter wings. From looking at the real photo I can almost see custom work similar to the fuselage. Ideas???

Hey Tom, that looks like a variation of a scheme I did for an FS9 109. It was from 11/JG2, a high altitude Channel interceptor detachment. I couldn't get the link from the library work here but I think I have some color profile info if you're still interested.

EDIT: Here are some links. You'll probably need to cut and paste them into your browser. They are of a G-4, Blue 6, April 1943.

Steve, the third link down is perfect. Shows the top of the winds perfectly. Really appreciate the help. I will try to get this one done today.

Hi Tom,

My best guess is that the aircraft is painted in the standard RLM 74/75/76 Messerschmitt 190-G scheme with some odd mottling. as these scheme were still strictly followed in 1943

Below the official drawing of the standard G scheme:

Thanks Huub, I figured that it would follow the RLM 74/75/76 pattern but this seemed more unusual than the norm. The pictures that Steve supplied verified the usual top wing pattern. I am saving your diagram and picture just because one can never have enough information on painting.

Much appreciated. I hope to get to this JG-26 Bf-109G6 later today,

A note, I forgot to add the thumbnail pictures and cfg for those using FSX to allow the aircraft to show up in the preview window. Easy to do as I added several pictures to each download.
