• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Flight Sim Shots image hosting down?

Hi! A little offtopic but apparently the site of hosting FS images Flight Sim Shots http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/ is gone for good (And taking down all my images in the process).
Anybody else that use their services are having issues too? Here:

In other words, server not found. I really understand that this service is FREE, but even in this case, it must be reliable. Otherwise, there is no point in put this service up.
Anyway, if someone knows what´s going on, can post here? I heard that the owner of the service was having some finantial issues, but really don´t know if it has anything to do with the above problem.

Question: can you guys give some advise about a good and reliable free image hosting site?

Thanks Montie, visiting photobucket i found the interface a little confusing but it´s a nice candidate for my new service. :encouragement:
 
I use Google Drive. The former version had a special link available for every image, for hosting, but that's gone now. I was able to trace the link and put that in a txt document that gives me every correct link for certain Drive folders. I only need to change the filename+ext and paste it into the forum post. I had synchronizing issues with Imageshack and Photobucket in the past, that's why I switched to Google Drive.

Wonder how the service was available to some guys above as it´s still offline. I think i´ll migrate to photobucket as it seems to suit my needs for now. Thanks for the tip Montie and thanks for all comments

It's just a matter of a little patience.

Once the maintenance is complete within next day or so the link and shots will be back .

I believe after seeing a post from the owner of fsfiles.org he was shutting it down from november 1st
