Flight Simulator Forums are now slightly open

The forum link from the Flight Simulator home page let me create my account. The public forum is not open to posting yet but I assume its not far away.

Evidently it requires an XBox Live account. I do not have an XBox system, not likely to ever have one.

I have never had an xbox either but have an account. I don't ever remember signing up to get one.

Not required, I logged in (I've and ancient account from Dirt Rally) and aside from the waiting time all seems normal (for Micro Crud!)

And 8 months later officially open for buisness...

Then crashed for a short while today.

At least it would not load for me a few hours ago. LOL
