• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Anyone know where the download link has gone on the Flight1 website? I was going to re-install it and was sure that I'd a copy of the installer on an external HDD....but I can't find it. :)
 
I'd suggest emailing AOPA for a link. I've done that in the past and they get right back to you.

Cheers, Steve. Do they host it on their own servers..... the link through AOPA references a Flight1 url that is no longer valid? :)

Edit: Just mailed them now. Fingers crossed that they've a valid link! :)
 
Just a quick update....I found the answer to my question in the AOPA forums. It appears that all of the Flight1/AOPA aicraft addons were only to be made available for a limited period to the AOPA members ie during the Sweepstakes. They are no longer available to download.

Guess I'd better search for my installer a little harder....might even have it on a DVD somewhere....hopefully.

I've got it somewhere if you need it. I know I backed it up to DVD.
 
I've noticed that AOPA hasn't done this the past couple of sweepstakes...too bad since last year it was a Cirrus. This year it's a Remos.
 
I sincerely hope they start doing them again.. maybe they stopped because they ran out of "C"s. The last three aircraft were the Commander, the Cherokee, and the Cardinal..
Or maybe Flight1 started charging them too much.. Who knows :(..
