FS2004 + SP1 pretty much works with W7, but some instruments don't. Not sure why, but it seems that XP specific gauges may have found a less than full backward compatability in W7. All a bit annoying as my PC was running fine under a clean new Vista and now I've upgraded I'm leery about trying to turn the clock back.

For example the AOPA Commander 112A autopilot seems to cause a crash to desktop if you try to load the aircraft, and the EFIS just plain won't switch on, is one example that I've come across. Replace them with equivalents and the aircraft is back in the game. I found a payware G1000 that I have did the trick, but the developer may not like having the mobility of his gauge advertised. :monkies:

I have another autopilot gauge that works most of the time and then goes AWOL once in a while, forget which one though.
