Im lucky to get above 11fps with no scenery objects in the external view but it is super smooth in the VC - i would suggest that anyone who has doubts about FPS should wait for the demo. Wish i had.

As usual, everyone's mileage will vary. I was expecting to have external view problems after reading your post, Gajit, but it's smooth as silk for me in both VC and external. Sorry that it's giving you so much pain, though. Like you said, if anyone is fence-sitting, waiting for the demo would be the smart thing to do.
