Flightsim Store Cross grade license

As the title of this thread suggests, I had previously purchase from Pcaviator a DVD copy of the Orbx PNW and some how managed to loose it. I went to them seeking another copy and they did
not have any more to send and suggested I contact the flightsim store to seek mitigation of the issue. Well, after sending them an email with invoice they responded with email stating that I need
to purchase a cross grade license. Up until now, I never hear of such a thing. I was given a link that would explain their rules for getting the license.

After I made the purchase for the license, I tried to D/L what I had just purchased, there was no download link provide. After rereading the info (link I proved here) again
it looks like I have to jump some hoops in order to get the green light (download link) from them. Now this file is 4GB. I'm on cable so I hope the servers will be nice and allow for
hopefully a speedy D/L. If that goes as hoped, I will blister that to another DVD.

I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with a with a cross grade license and what does that license do?
I got an immediate email response (I think automated) from the flightsim store:
"We have received your request and are working on responding to you as soon as possible" That outfit is on the other side of the planet (Australia) and I
am in USA CTZ. I figure it will be awhile before I hear any more from them. I guess it's hurry up and wait for now. :adoration:
 
They'll be back to you pretty fast. I did the cross grade license on 3 OrbX products I got from PC Aviator. Once you have the digital form in your FSS account, you can always download the latest version of the product. The download link in your account will be kept up to date. It's great. Adrian ( owner of FSS ) is good people, and has wonderful customer service.
