Flower Class Corvettes available on www.fouteman-goes-cfs3.tk

Aloha....

Oh yes, surely you must have seen some of these screenshots before: standalones of the GroundCrew's Flower Class Corvette. Well, those standalones are available now for convoy duty on your CFS ETO sea..... (click on the thumbs to view a larger image)

Waiting in the shipyard (@ www.fouteman-goes-cfs3.tk) to be downloaded are 21 standalones of Flower Class Corvette for CFS 3 ETO (only!!!!). My original plan was to paint as much camouflage schemes as seen on Flower Class Corvettes during WW2. This explains why several versions of the same ship are available. I changed the EnteredService and LeftService dates of those ships, based on historical information (the date a new camouflage scheme was introduced, date the ship was sunk etc etc,). This gives you the option to have ships sailing in your missions in the correct scheme for that period. Some information about the ships is provided in a "docs and pics" folder

The damageprofile has been re-edited by Daiwiletti and I'm very grateful to him for doing this....You will have a hard time hitting these Flowers......

And above all: very special thanks to Greg Law of the Ground Crew Design Group for his kind permission to make standalones of his ships for CFS 3....

Also included are facility files of each ships, after an example by Bob "Wulfmann" Ruff. Be aware.....even those static versions are leathal.

In the downloadfiles you will find install instructions. Read those instructions carefully.

Some handy tips: Open the zipfile inside the download file with any tool that can handle zipfiles. Once you've opened the zipfile select all files. Extract them to your main CFS 3 ETO folder with option "use folder names" marked. All files will be extracted to the correct folders. If you want to check the folderstructure yourself, you could extract the files to any folder you want (again with option "use folder names" marked) before pasting them in your gamefolder.

Have fun and feel free to provide me with your feedback!!!!!!!

You can find my website here: www.fouteman-goes-cfs3.tk

Tribal Class Destroyer part 2 and County Class Cruiser coming up next week(s)

PS: website can be viewed best in Firefox

the pics look great, thanks for the work!

...unfortunately I cannot get through to your website, because my virus programme (Avira AntiVvir) gives me urgent warnings...

something wrong or should I switch it off?

Nothing's wrong, seems Internet Explorer doesn't like my website. I'm using Firefox myself and have no problems downloading from my site. You could either switch your anti-virus software off (temporarely) or use Firefox to download.

If that doesn't help we'll find another way....

groeten!!!!

I have had problems getting past your home page but I ended up bookmarking the down load page. Now I can get in every time by going there instead of starting at the home page

Very nice Ton. I love these tough little ships. They really are the unsung heroes of the Battle of the Atlantic.

Now all we need are some Black Swan escort sloops. Some were formed into the RN's first hunter-killer groups that hunted U-boats in the Bay of Biscay under the command of Capt Johnnie Walker (yes really, but no Black Label:icon_lol:)

How about this artwork for USS Walker (DD-517) named after admiral John Grimes Walker...

take a good look at the logo in the right corner, looks like a mirrored

Don't know if this is coincidence or a practical joke by the artist. Whisky is not my cup of tea anyway....

Has anyone ever tried to set up a Dunkirk mission?

Okay, it was a stupid question. I found a few from back in 2006, and those that came packaged with ETO. It just seems with all these new ships coming out we should be taking another look at filling the channel with all those tasty little targets.

You could do some 1944 Channel missions with the Tribals, just a few days after D-Day the Kriegsmarine tried to attack the Allied naval force at Normandy, but the German ships were intercepted by the destroyers of the 10th Destroyer Flotilla. Several were sunk by ships, some heavy damaged and finished by the RAF...

Will be doing some more members of the 10th destroyer flottila for more accuracy.....

groeten!!!!

For the 1940 period, let's see what's available. Seems a lot of Tribals and J&K class destroyers were involved in Arctic battles (Narvik etc) at that time and were not involved in the Dunkerque evacuation.....

Hi Foute man,

We should by you a copy of Ship Simulator!!:jump: LOL
