Some shots from a recent flight in Dave Garwood's Dragon Rapide.

Like the Walnut panel:ernaehrung004:
Thanks Roger. I kinda redid everything interior in hi-res. . .redid all the placards except the one to the right of the oil temp gauges. I couldn't read anything on it and never found any examples of DH-89A panels where that was even present. I planned on putting a few switches there instead but the panel is about 95% coded in the mdl so I can't really do anything with the panel. I did notice that only certain areas react to the shadowing in P3D. The tube frame does, the floor appears to, but not the panel and not the passenger compartment. Also replaced the original sound set that came with it. . .too loud and changes in throttle settings didn't sound any different.

I must have had 5 flights in the Rapide (real flights that is) and the soundset is VERY close in all respects to the real thing. All that's missing is the vibration!!:biggrin-new:

What placards can't you read Ed.. all of them? That panel is based on G-AIDL. Sit in half a dozen others and they'll all be different.

Nah.. I took the pictures. These are what the original FS9 2D panel were made from;) Feel free to grab those shots and use as you see fit.:encouragement:

I didn't know figures could be removed. Is it a payload setting? I never took in the readme on this plane, just jumped in and buzzed around :pirate:

Have a look in the aircraft.cfg. The legend for what you want visible is highlighted at the very top and added (or otherwise) to the title= line ;)

Well, my Senior moments seem to be coming closer and closer together. The version of Dave's Rapide that I did so much work on was not his latest (V4). I discovered that this evening while trying to run down a paint kit for the one I had. Every search referred to a ver4 paint kit, so I downloaded it and found very quickly that it didn't match the fuselage textures on my current airplane.

Anyway, I now have the newest version, yes DaveB the sounds are excellent, far better VC details than the one I had also. I may still keep the panel I did and add carpeting, but otherwise it's a beauty. Looking forward to doing some AM flying now.:dizzy:

The Garwood Dragon is a top addon if you are not in a hurry when flying :engel016:. Great inmersion and lovely looks from the VC if you use a tracking device. Something I really appreciate.
