I have it installed with my tweaks in place, but haven't flown it yet. Here's the changelog quoted from the documentation package:

=================
C414A V 4.7.7
6-11-2026
=========

Updates:

1. Replaced the original third-party turbocharger mixture logic with our newer Tru-Sim turbocharger logic developed from the Flysimware Lancair Legacy.

This new system provides a much more realistic turbocharged mixture response. At idle and higher altitude airports, some leaning may be required to keep the engines running smoothly. At higher RPM and normal operating power settings, the aircraft can remain slightly rich through most normal operations below the critical altitude.

The turbocharger mixture logic is tuned around a 21,000-foot critical altitude. Below this altitude, the aircraft should require little to no leaning during normal higher-power operation. Above the critical altitude, mixture leaning becomes more important as the aircraft continues toward its maximum operating altitude.

2. Reviewed and refined the cowl flap and cylinder head temperature behavior.

Cowl flap cooling is now more noticeable and has been tested with open versus closed cowl flap positions. Depending on power setting, airspeed, and outside air temperature, testing showed cylinder head temperature differences up to approximately 50°F. Overall cylinder head temperature behavior has also been slightly increased so cowl flap management is more meaningful during hot weather, climb, and higher power operation.

Flight Dynamics:

1. Increased pitch and aileron effectiveness for improved control response.

2. Adjusted elevator trim behavior to provide a wider and smoother fine-tuning range, making it easier to precisely balance the aircraft in pitch.

If you haven't flown it, you're missing out. Aside from maintaining cabin temp (Black Square is much better at that), this thing is fun to fly. You get a copilot, you get (scary looking) passengers, and at night, the blowers can be seen through the louvers glowing cherry red. Even after a flight, step outside and you can hear the blowers creaking as they cool down. FSW has really put some effort into this one. I only wish it had a dynamic external registration. But that's not a killer on this one since I've been able to add my own "N721TC" to one of the existing liveries.
