Flysimware Sierra...coming September

I liked the airport scenery better than the airplane. Other than a few cute but meaningless animations, I didn't see anything that would interest me in purchasing the airplane. I have their C-414 and Lear 35, but i think I will pass on this one. Too much like a half dozen other airplanes.

It does look really great, though, if you have some affinity for the Sierra (flown in one, own one, just like 'em). And Flysimware does really good stuff. I appreciate the panel options. When I saw the all-Garmin panel, I yawned -- so much "same old same old" with those. But there are interesting mixes of glass and steam gauges too.

Just because FSW does such a good job, I'll definitely consider it if it hits an attractive sale price point. I'm sure I could have fun with it.

But agreed -- this would have been mind-blowingly cool a couple of years ago, but I have a lot of GA planes in this performance category in my hangar at this point.

Reading the AOPA summary, the real plane sounds like it'd be a nice, roomy, decent-performing choice to own. But in the "how interesting is it to fly?" it sounds like landing is the only area where it's a bit distinctive.

Ive got the C414, ive got room for one more FSW and that's there Falcon 50 if it ever comes. There Falcon 50 was a mainstay in my FSX/P3D hanger and a go to.

Yes, this would have been a perfect choice. I can't understand why they didn't go for that one :/

I had been hoping for the best aircraft there is…the PA32-301 😃😃
This aircraft is not going to do anything the Comanche doesn’t do. And I doubt there will be many of those in FSE.

I'm guessing either they got access to a real Sierra, or someone at FSW has/had one. Just an odd choice.

This is correct. Someone who tests with FSW owns a Sierra. I fly a musketeer super III which is very similar minus the retractable gear and constant speed prop. But I agree, it's on odd choice of addon. I would have also preferred a C441 or MU2. Thankfully they are making a Lancair Legacy next... though it will be all glass with G3X and GTN - since WT has now crafted a beautiful rendition of the G3X I'm likely to purchase it.
