Focke-Wulf Fw Ta154 A1 Moskito night fighter uploaded

Looks great! However, the glass is completely grey in FSX. And there doesn't appear to be a separate glass texture. Any way to get an FSX version of it? There's also a weird black bar at the bottom of the screen that squishes the entire picture. Is there a fix for that?

I really can't believe you've just posted that........ :redfire:

Because, you have downloaded a clearly marked Fs9 ac from the FS2004 section, expected it to work in FSX, and then posted a list criticisms, which are inappropriate for this Fs9 model!! That's why....::dizzy:

If you'd just asked, will there be an FSX version available......there would be a simple answer....

Sorry. But many fs9 models work just fine in FSX apart from a prop texture issue or something easily fixable. Guess I jumped the gun on asking about a fix..

Foo,
No probs, there will be a dedicated FSX version, probably done by Erwin Welker, so sit tight.

Cheers

Foo..

Re the squashed screen.. look in the panel.cfg for the main window (the first one) and look for the line.. render_3d_window=0. If it says 0.. change it to 1 and have another go. If it says 1 already.. change it to 0:encouragement:

Yours looks great ,flys splendid ,big hit

Now as I also fly FSX and patience is not my major stength,if you could point me(us) to the location of the glass texture ( if that is in the texture file and not in the model ) we can easier wait on the FSX version by Erwin

Not that it matters that much

Stunning detail elsewhere on the plane

Thanks

Roland

This one snuck past me, Shessi... had no idea you were working on this model, or modifying it. I was just thinking about Chris and what he was up to these days. He and I sorta go back a long way, (with his earliest work, then his Alphasim planes... then his latest stuff). :dizzy:

Roland,
Please just be patient, it will happen. I would much rather, and I'm sure you would as well, that a fully compatible FSX ac be uploaded rather than tweaking what is clearly not an FSX compatible ac.
Anyway, why haven't you guys still got Fs2004 installed, or if you have then why not go and enjoy it in that sim!....ha!..;)

BB,
Sorry I missed my tester buddy out of the loop, I think I did tell you a while ago, but been so busy with various ac, and this one, it just slipped by!

Anyhow I promise the next one.

Just to clarify folks, this was built by Chris. He is a superb builder, and pretty good with the tex, he produces beautiful work, neat clean and way above what I'm capable of. My part was the crew, panels, testing and more testing, tweaking and packaging, so a good team effort, but definitely Chris's model and texs.

We've got a doozy next, shouldn't be too much longer...go on, give it a guess..ha!

Cheers

Thank you all ... great aircraft

And also funny :adoration:
When I start the first engine ... (brakes ON) the AC made a 90° turn and jump in the sky and begin a dance !

A beautiful new model of the Focke-Wulf Ta154 A1 Moskito night fighter by Chris Lampard,...

Beautiful indeed Shessi. I would like to congratulate Chris on a superb model of this fascinating aircraft. Chris, you really nailed the characteristic "sit" of the One Five Four. Thank you both for your contributions to FS9.

:applause:

This thing ROCKS !

The model itself is brilliant and the level of details is really amazing, I especially love the ladders and hatch.
Great VC, as well, the texture's mapping is appealing for more paints !

definitely an A++ gem !

Thanks for this one Chris and Shessi !
