Following the kerfuffle over weapons in FSX...

Didn't quite escape.
...would anyone like a Spitfire that has no intention of ever firing its guns?

iac109.jpg

It's fictional (as far as I'm aware), based on pics of a model Hurricane that I found around the internet. The reason the repaint is done on a IIb is purely because all the other ones I've done have been on the Ia airframe. If anyone wants her, let me know and I'll zip it up and upload it.

Also let me know if you'd prefer her in green and grey, rather than green and brown, or the pea-like green that the IAC took on after the war, without the white squares. I can have a crack at either, depending on what people want, if they want anything at all!

Cheers,

Ian P.

Fantastic,Ian! :salute: Yep...you are correct this model was never flown by the IAC and as pointed out, this scheme is from the Hurricanes that were ...em..."borrowed" from the RAF during the "Emergency".*

Could you do it in the IAC Seafire green scheme...ala mkIX-T 161...http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=60775&pid=657898&st=0&

*for those who are unaware...whilst the rest of the free world was fighting a World War during 1939-45, Ireland was in the midst of "The Emergency"! ;p

Really appreciate these paints,Ian :ernae:

Now...I'm off to frighten livestock with my neutered Spits!:d
