I bought it last night & have flown just 1 mission.

I will withhold comment until I have tried some of the others & have a firm basis to state an opinion.
 
I don't trust Combat Planes, though :(

Their Typhoon was horrible, and expensive :(

Thanks from me too, Boomer. I don't know if Combat Plane's missions are better than their aircraft, and I shouldn't shoot down something that I can't do myself, but hey, what else are we reviewers good for :p

Just kidding of course, but in all my reviewing the Typhoon stands out negatively.
 
What does the Typhoon have anything to do with this? I don't get the connection. Aerosoft didn't make a Typhoon.
 
Purchased it, gonna install and test tonight.

I'm gonna invite a real F-16AM pilot here to test this as well, later this week.
 
I know I'll regret this, because this can affect to the sales of Aerosoft, but this is against combat planes.

I was beta testing some of their mission packs (beaver and F-16) and then one day the CP guy told that we were not doing hard enough work and disbanded the beta team. I admit that I could have done more testing, but I felt exhausted to fly same missions again and again. And the way he said that they have hired some local tester, sounded to me that it can easily be left without proper testing.
 
A buddy of mine (F-16AM pilot) tested the stuff and found it is (taking the FSX limitations for granted) quite good. The Aerosoft F-16 in general was assessed as being "as close as it can get within FSX parameters", meaning; Job well done on the F-16, Aerosoft! Especially the flight computer and the other avionics are very impressive (taking under consideration all stuff included in the aircraft is based on unclassified information).

Regarding the mission pack:

My buddy was impressed about that as well, also considering the unclassified environment the developers had to use. It is certainly a great addition to FSX missions.

Further and more precise details about the F-16 pilot's findings (regarding the aircraft and the mission pack) are perhaps published here later.

The reasons are as following;

First; we need to review and make clear that any and all of the findings to be posted are absolutely unclassified.
Second; Taking the comprehensive replies to this and other threads i posted (including replies to other threads) under consideration it is my believe there is no further or very limited interest to my contributions regarding FSX matters. I have the unpleasant sensation the name "Warrant" to any post is subject to neglect, disregard or ignoration. :monkies:
I don't have a clue why, but it bothers me. Therefore i consider leaving SoH (at least regarding posting) for what it is for a while.

This needs to remain a hobby and fun, right? :amen:

So, for the time being ...so long!
