If you go to the mountain area try to stay here....do not stay in David it´s too hot!!!....there are many hotels in Boquete and also Cabins, bungalows, etc...

Gera which dialect of spanish is spoken in Panama so i can brush up. My predominant dialect is Cuban. The wife thanks you and picked the [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Los Quetzales Resort and then [/FONT]Cala Mia.

Happy to know you found something you liked.......of all Latin American contries we speack Spanish very much like Cubans so you'll be fine!!!!!:applause:.....
If you drive....this is what I recomend....Panama City, David (About 6 hours, driving at around 120kmh stopping for lunch at Santiago( Pma/Santiago you have a Turnpike..Santigago/David its avery good 2 lane road)....From David to Los Quetzales is about 1.5 hours or less in a beautiful mountain road...you can stay there and drive to Boquete which is about 2.hours...spend the day there--Great little Restaurants and lot of places to visit....don't forget to get some coffee and Strawberries with cream here.!!!.....Los Quetzales is really nice, hope you get a chance to see some of the prettiest birds there......What is your date to come...we leave until the 22nd......
