1964 Wittman Tailwind. Recovered 3 times, last recover in 1991. Continental 6 cylinder, 12 volt battery system, Nav lights, needs tires soon, seats still in fair condition. Builder installed wood interior. Cargo can hold 60 pounds behind seats. 25 Gallon fuel tank. Cruises at 150 MPH. New prop.

Needs some TLC, some soap and water. Better not wax it though or it might take the paint off.

Located near Anchorage at Hope airstrip in the mountains. First offer gets it.

Actually, Robert Rivera has already done several photo real textures on it. Check the FSX Sticky on the Tailwind to see more. The black one named HotRod is also a photo real texture taken off a photo.

Thanks Bill, just what was needed to transport that huge shaggy dog.
There was no way he was going in the hotrod...:sheep:

Edit: I see the FS9 repaints are up on flightsim.com too.

Yep, includes both versions; FSX and FS2004 texture formats in DDS and DXT respectively.

I may not have had that on the repaint package data.


I faild to mention, it could use some Armourall, and you might want to hit the instrument panel top area with a coat of Flat Black, preferably krinkle-black as its fading a bit. You might cover up the floorboard with a bit of auto carpet. Its liteweight and will hide all the weathering on that wood floor..
