For TRAIN BUSTING fun!

Hello all!:wavey:

This is a 3 days project to have some "train busting" missions at the AAC. Maiden sortie took place last Sunday and pilots present had a train load of fun.

The AAC Locomotive is now available in the CFS1 "other" section. HERE

It was a "quickie" simply because it is based on my previous tutorial on making "movable" objects out of library objects that you can find HERE.

The sound file is simple but effective; three stereo WAV files are playing the "cling clang" of the rails (as wind sound), the "chug-a-lug" (following RPM), and the whistle "choo-choo" (flaps up and down).

It is TG2 enabled with "concealed" 2x20mm cannons. For those wanting to have fun alone (there is another name for that kind of behavior btw... :redface:), here is a suggestion;

Go in QC against 9 P-47D in defensive position. Use slew mode to get on the ground (Y key, then F1, then Y again), fire your engine and manned your station. Targets will come from everywhere! I have survived up to three waves of voracious "Jugs". Try to do better.

Another "refinement" is to try to drive your locomotive while staying on the tracks. I have been wandering all over France these last days doing that and pestering:a1451: against the twisted minds who laid those tracks. Despite "disjointed ground tiles" and bumps all over the place, I never exploded, not even once, but the roller coaster experience is... stimulating.

There is a README file within the release that gives some pointers and tricks. P-L-E-A-S-E!!! Read it!

All aboard!
