For you Vans (RV) fans - A pop question

fsxar177

Long-Time Enthusiast
Good-day
Mr. Richard Vangrunsven, the founder/CEO of Vans aircraft, lives on a small private airstrip. For years he has flown his own personal Rv-4, RV-10, or now his Rv-12 from his home strip, to work. (Yes, he flies to work, weather permitting)

Question: Which airstrip is this, and where is it located?

Bonus: FSX Screenie of your Rv-8 at his home strip!

Joseph

How about North Plains, Oregon!! Actually just across the highway from North Plains. Company now at the Aurora Airport.

Wow....that was fats, real fast!

Yes, it is North Plains. I once live on the airstrip there myself.

Interesting. I had to look that one up! Hard to find on the sat since its a dirt strip. You would really need to know what to look for to even know it was a landing strip.

Well, I guess I should clarify.
It's in North Plains OR, but it's called "Sunset Air Strip"... (It's on the south side of 26) The other "North Plains" is more or less a glider strip.
