Force feedback take offs

BeauBrummie

Home for tea and tiffin!
I mainly enjoy flying using my Saitek Cyborg FFB stick. I gives a more intuitive flight experience. But I have noticed that it is harder to take off with some aircraft types with FFB on than it is with it off. For example flying the Tigermoth/Hurricane/Spitfire the aircraft is more unstable than with it on than with it off. The aircraft easily tip over (onto the starboard side mainly) and I find that recovery is very difficult. Take FFB off and the take off is much easier. In flight I find the FFB is a more natural thing and I fly better with it on. Without it the aircraft feels dead in comparison. The question is, is it me or the stick that screws up the take offs? I understand that FFB sticks are now uncommon, is this because of such difficulties as I am finding?
