Not game related but didn't see any other place to post this.

After seeing an error in a previous post of mine there was no Edit button to be found when I attempted to make the change. Further checking (FAQ) reveals the edit function is time limited. So, what is the time limit?

EDIT: Was just advised to go to Sim-Outhouse forum administrator for this..

i do have the same timeout problem, i think it is necessary for keeping the bandwidth, to limit the sessions after a certain time of inactivity - problem is this time is sometimes limited to a few seconds, or so it seems ..
I do now always right my message into the editor, and only copy and paste it when it's ready because of this problem.

Long Time Past it was about a week, Just prior the Crash of 9/08 it was roughly 48 hours. Now I'd say it's about 8 hours . .or Less

My vote is 8 hours... But I can use this thread as a test to see how long the edit button lasts.
 
The time limit for editing a post is 400 minutes, so you've got a little over 6.5 hours to get all the typos out. :)
I know...sometimes I need longer than that too!

Just going to have to work on my senior moments I guess...

It is 3 minutes and a few seconds, to be exact, until i'm thrown out. Smetimes even faster - so what could be the explanation ?
