In the section that documents plane types, there are two entries that I never saw before. First is Kamikzai. This is interesting since as of now I have no idea what this desigination does. You know that how your plane flies is dependent on a number of parameters. In QC bombers fly as bombers do if they are designated as bombers, but if you say they are fighters they fly as a fighter. So I imagine that somewhere in the game there is a hard code that defines how a kamikazi designated plane flies. How not sure but intertesting. Second there is another designation called carrier_based. Again this is another unknown but it would be interesting to see what happens when you reclassify a few planes to these different types and see what they do, or if it even works.
As you all know that there is a ship type called carrier and this defines how the ship behaves at sea. I know that we can't land on carrier ships per se and have developed work arounds for this to happen. Just wish we had a detailed user manual on the internal code......
Also did you know that the exhaust gas temperature and exhaust gas pressure ratio gauges work for jet planes yet the original cfs3 jets did not use these while in real life they did have them in cockpit?
